SHELLEY KENNY

Shelley Kenney is a highly-accomplished performer and teacher who has had the opportunity to work with many established and inspirational choreographers and teachers from around the world. She has studied under the Royal Academy of Dancing and A.D.A.P.T. Syllabus. Shelley has received many prestigious titles including Miss Dance of Canada  (CDMA), Dancer of the Year (ADA Detroit), and Senior Miss Can-Dance (Montreal). Performance credits include: Return to Grace (Mirvish/RGA Productions), Mary Poppins (Citadel, Theatre Calgary), Dance Legends (Grand Theatre), Canadian Opera Company’s Tales of Hoffmann, and Semele, the lead dancer role of Victoria in Cats (Rainbow Stage), Lori Beth in the Canadian Premiere of Happy Days (Stage West), Scrooge The Musical, and Broadway Gold 1 & II (Rose Theatre). Shelley has also been privileged enough to travel around the world, performing in Encore at Tokyo Disney Sea, onboard Celebrity and Princess Cruise Lines, as well as performing for the Canadian Troops on the CF Show Tour in Trenton (Ont), Goose Bay (Nfld), and Alert (Nunavut). TV credits include: Warehouse 13, Breakfast Television, City TV New Years Bash (Suzy McNeil), MMVA’s (Psy), & Eva Avila Music Video. Shelley is a proud member of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association & ACTRA. Shelley is an extremely passionate teacher, and enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of dance with her students.
