MATTHEW ROSSOFF

Hailing from New York City, Matthew has had some amazing choreography/teaching opportunities including: SOUL KITCHEN (Choreographer, Joe’s Pub), HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (Associate, Paper Mill Playhouse), NYE WITH PHISH (Associate, Madison Square Garden) and FIENDS (Associate, Busch Gardens).  He has taught Tap and Musical Theater workshops at prestigious NYC institutions such as the Juilliard School, Circle in the Square Theater School, Theater Arts Center Summer Intensive, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and with Broadway Connections.  As a performer, Matthew was the Swing and Dance Captain in the 2012 TONY nominated Broadway revival of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.  Matthew toured North America for a year and half with the company of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, starring Topol and Harvey Fierstein.  Back in 2006, Matthew made his first appearance on Broadway at the August Wilson Theater in a one-night benefit concert of THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS (Actors’ Fund Benefit).  Other selected Regional credits include: ZORBA (NY City Center Encores!), Sonny Latierri in GREASE, 9 TO 5 (Walnut Street Theater), CAMELOT and JCS (Stratford Festival), Sgt. Fogarty in CHICAGO, Lt. Buzz Adams in SOUTH PACIFIC and GUYS AND DOLLS (Drayton Entertainment), DISNEY’S WHEN YOU WISH, WEST SIDE STORY, and A CHORUS LINE.  He is a featured dancer in ABC/Disney’s ONCE UPON A MATTRESS starring Carol Burnett and Tracy Ullman and in Showtime’s TV musical REEFER MADNESS.  Matthew is also a certified yoga instructor and will be achieving his M.F.A. in Acting at York University.
