JESSICA BURRETT

Jessica was raised in Peterborough, Ontario and has had a strong passion for dance since her first time in a studio. Over many years of training, she explored ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and partnering. Before graduating high school, Jessica worked as the resident choreographer for Arbor Theatre choreographing two of their annual shows. She also received the Bright Lights Young Artist Award, obtained her Associate certification in Ballet with the B.A.T.D., and completed her R.C.M. Grade Eight Vocal Certificate.

With her love of dance and music, Jessica studied in the Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance at Sheridan College. Jessica was a member of the Young Company at The Charlottetown Festival in Prince Edward Island in 2015 performing We Are Canadian. She recently performed in Theatre Sheridan’s season including productions of Footloose, Starlight Tours (workshop), Into the Woods, Kiss Me, Kate, and Crazy For You. Jessica is currently performing in the ensemble of The Guild’s production of Anne & Gilbert, understudying many roles and taking on the role of Dance Captain. Jessica is a young, enthusiastic artist, who is eager to share her passion with everyone.
