AMANDA LUNDGREN

Amanda began her love affair with dance at a very young age. That passion led her to study and perform in all over the world. She began her professional career with Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) where she focused on captivating an audience with body and soul in a variety of styles, being true to herself and growing as an artist. That growth led her to become an inaugural member of both the Carnival Valor and Carnival Dream.

Amanda then moved to New York City and continued her education as part of the Steps on Broadway International Student Visa Program. She had the opportunity to perform in the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Dumbo Dance Festival, Battery Dance Festival, NuDance Festival and The Latin Choreographers Festival to name a select few. She's worked with Maria Torres, Ray Hesselink, Tony Stevens, Jason Winters, Derek Mitchell, Bradley Shelver, Peff Modelski and with Karen Gayle’s modern dance company Xodus Dance Collective. Amanda returned to CCL as a member of one of 4 casts implementing Playlist Productions performing works by Paul Roberts, Layla Ellison, Peter Flynn, Dev Janki and John Tartaglia. Amanda progressed to Dance Captain, Playlist Cast Manager and Supervisor before coming full circle and returning home to Ontario.

Since being home she’s hit the ground running making her debut’s in Lysistrata (Toronto Fringe Festival 2017); Cinderella (Neptune Theatre); Guys and Dolls (Capitol Theatre); Holiday Inn (Shaw Festival) and the upcoming Chicago and Here’s What it Takes (Stratford Festival). Film/TV credits include Edwards Pie (Redke Film Group) and Deadly Deception (Ciniplex Media).
