PENELOPE ARTEMIS

Simply put, Penelope was destined to be on stage. Born and raised in Toronto, she started dancing at the age of three and quickly made the dance studio her second home. Penelope has trained intensively in R.A.D Ballet, A.D.A.P.T tap and jazz, hip hop, contemporary, ballroom and acrobatics. Her passion and dedication have earned her many awards and accolades.

Penelope has had the opportunity to perform in Florida, London, Paris (Turning Pointe Academy of Dance) and Mexico (Five Star Dance Company). She feels very fortunate to be able to travel and do what she loves. Over the last two years, Penelope has rediscovered her love of Musical Theatre and has taken part in a number of shows. Some of her favourite credits include Raise the Stakes (Raise the Stakes), Hairspray (SMC Troubadors), Big Fish and Anything Goes (Wavestage).

When she’s not performing, you can find Penelope in the dance studio helping train the next generation of dancers. She’s best known for her uplifting energy and nurturing teaching practices. Past and present students of hers find her to be not only an inspiring dancer and teacher but human too.
