LEAH LAVERGNE

As a young dancer, Leah spent her summers attending multiple Ballet intensive programs throughout North America. Following a competitive stream of dance in all disciplines it was the summers away that grew her strong passion for Ballet foundations.

Through her years of ballet training she has followed the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Showing a consistent high level of accomplishment, musicality, style and presentation she received the Highest Vocational Graded Examination, Solo Seal Award, after achieving honors in the Advanced 2 level.

As a teacher, Leah is constantly motivating, encouraging and expressing the importance of strong technical development. Remaining forever a student, She is constantly pulling ideas and inspiration from her weekly fitness routine into the classroom. Yoga teachings, breath in movement and pilates based techniques are just some ways in which she brings a deeper understanding of the body to dancers at the ballet barre. These teachings help solidify as well as diversify beyond classical dance techniques to help build a well rounded and confident dancer.

She is dedicated to inspiring her students to work to their fullest potential and instilling in them, a love for the art of dance.
