KATELYN OLSEN
Originally from Haydon ON, Katelyn Olsen began her dance training at the age of eleven at Precisions Dance Company and was a loyal student until graduating in 2014. She trained in various style including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, acro, musical theatre, tap and ballroom. She has been assisting, teaching and Choreographing since the age of fifteen. Olsen has prosperously completed many ballet examinations under the RAD and Cecchetti syllabus, as well as jazz and tap examinations under the ADAPT syllabus. She has performed on many stages across Canada and the United States through conventions, festivals, competitions and summer intensives. In summer of 2014 she performed in New York City at the A.C.E Capezio Choreography Awards as well as the Carnival Choreographers Ball in Los Angeles. Post graduation she moved to Toronto and began training in the Performance Dance program at Ryerson University. She is currently in her third year at the School of Toronto Dance theatre training and working with the industries leading professionals. Olsen has performed works by Hanna Kiel, Louis Laberge-Cote, Sharon B. Moore, Ted Robinson, Julia Sasso, Ofilio Sinbadinho and Darryl Tracy.
