JOSH DOIG

Josh Doig is an established Actor, Singer, Dancer and Choreographer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance from Ryerson University. Formally trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Contemporary dance, Josh then took his passion for singing and acting to the professional stage. As a member of Canadian Actor’s Equity Association, Josh began his career at the Charlottetown Festival in Anne of Green Gables. Returning to the island for the next two years Josh performed in Canada ROCKS!, Alice Through the Looking Glass and Mamma Mia. Having worked across Canada, Josh has had the pleasure of working on shows such as Rock of Ages (Stage West Calgary), Beauty and the Beast (Globe Theatre and Capitol Theatre), Shrek (Globe Theatre), Hairspray (Theatre Aquarius), and the World Premiere of a new Canadian musical Kamp (Neptune Theatre/Eastern Front). Most recently Josh was working at the Stratford Festival in Spamalot and understudying Peter Pan in the play Wendy and Peter Pan. When not in shows, Josh can be seen hosting on the View Dance Challenge stage. Josh has a passion for teaching and choreographing and takes any opportunity he can to get back in the studio and see what the future of dance has to offer.
