JARRET CODY
Jarret Cody was born in Edmonton, Alberta and was 6 years old when he took his first tap class. He loved to dance competitively and during his time at university he began teaching and choreographing in a variety of styles including tap, jazz, and hip hop.
Once he completed his biology degree from the University of Calgary he moved to Vancouver where he graduated from the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Centre and then promptly left the country to travel the world while dancing for Princess Cruises.
After returning to land, and getting rid of those sea legs, he found his way into a few music videos, movies, and stage pieces before landing in the great big world that is Musical Theatre. Now that he has added some acting and a good deal of singing to his skill set, he hopes to continue performing in all fashions. Jarret’s most recent credits include Shrek: The Musical (Theatre Under the Stars), Crazy For You (The Gateway Theatre), Twist and Shout: The British Invasion and Footloose (Chemainus Theatre Festival), and Mary Poppins (The Arts Club).
