CHRISTINE WATSON
Christine Watson works as a dancer, choreographer and stage performer. She began dancing when she was very young, embracing many different styles and working at the competitive level. She trained at Dimensions In Dance in Kitchener, and attended Eastwood Collegiate Institute for their Integrated Arts Program. She has gone on to become a very successful dancer and has performed all across the world. Christine was dance captain for the American National Dance Team and travelled with them to Italy and Spain, winning the world title two years in a row. She toured Europe and the Caribbean as a dancer and aerial artist for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Christine has worked with some of the best dancers and choreographers in the nation, and has won numerous awards including, 'Teen Miss Can Dance', Eastwood Collegiate's 'Senior Dance Award', 'Dance USA Overall Super Grand Champion', and the 'Mark Marino Scholarship'.
Christine is a proud member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and has worked for a number of professional theatre companies. Credits include, Connie in A Chorus Line (Rose Theatre Productions); Dance Legends (The Grand Theatre); Spamalot (Theatre Aquarius); Anne of Green Gables, Spamalot, Footloose, Peter Pan, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz and 9 To 5: The Musical (Drayton Entertainment). Film and TV credits include, 88 (Wango Films) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Universal Studios). Christine’s choreography credits include, Bye Bye Birdie, Broadway Our Way, The Full Monty, The Sound of Music and RENT (KWMP), Karaoke Dreamer (Bluewater Summer Playhouse), assistant choreographer/dance captain for Hairspray and Footloose (KWMP).
Christine is extremely passionate about teaching and enjoys sharing her love of the arts, while being a mentor and inspiration to today’s youth.
