CHELSEA PRESTON

Chelsea Preston is a professional actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, and song-writer, originally from Vancouver Island. She grew up training at the Parksville Ballet School in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, modern, and national dancing. At the age of thirteen she joined the preprofessional contemporary company, Dancestreams and trained and toured with the company for three years. When she was only sixteen she moved from Vancouver Island to the mainland to pursue her dance training at the Richmond Academy of Dance. This is where she fully realized her true passion for musical theatre. After two intensive years at the Richmond Academy she then moved to Edmonton to develop her skills as a triple threat at Grant MacEwan University, where she graduated with distinction.

Since graduating Chelsea has performed all over Canada and the UK. Along side her performing, her passions include teaching, choreographing and song-writing. To Chelsea dancing is a lot more than just steps, it’s about communicating and telling a story through the movement of ones body.
