RESUME
Cassie has been a part of the Quick Ball Change roster since 2011, specializing in hip hop choreography that is influenced by everything from commercial choreography and heels training, to street dance styles such as krump, house or wacking. Along with competitive and recreational hip hop classes taught across the GTA, Cassie teaches beginner jazz, tap, acro and ballet. Cassie began her training at the age of 5, training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, gymnastics, and competing in musical theatre and hip hop. It was hip hop that allowed Cassie to come into her own as an artist, and since then she has performed for and trained with some of the best choreographers in the city. Recently, Cassie has performed at World of Dance Toronto, Fever After Dark and multiple showcases, charity and fundraising events across Toronto. Quickly shaping up to be a triple threat, Cassie recently choreographed, performed and stage-managed for Hetta Dance Company , directed by Royal Winnipeg Ballet alum Lena Wiklund. Current training includes BOSS Dance Company, under the direction of Leah Totten, as well as The Girls Club Academy’s Freshmen, the newest addition to Tamina Pollack-Paris’ heels collective. Cassie is also completing a B.A. in Dance Studies at York University, with a specialization in Dance History and Culture.
