Brooke started student teaching from the age of 14 years old and was teaching private solo lessons to students by the age of 16 years old. Brooke ventured off into her teaching career at the age of 18 years old at JWDA (Joanne Williamson Dance Academy), where she was a full-time teacher there for their competitive Hip-Hop and Musical Theatre classes, as well as private vocal lessons and dance solos. Throughout the years Brooke has taught at various studios in Sydney and now in Toronto.
Brooke is no stranger to the stage and has been performing on a stage since she was 2 years old. It's where she feels at home. Brooke has danced for many corporate events, weddings, theatre and on national television. She made her debut on Disney channel Australia where she was selected for her dance and vocal skill to participate in a competition and won. She also placed 5th on The X Factor Australia with her former girl group BEATZ and was under Spice Girls very own Mel.B as their mentor. Brooke has shared the stage with wildly popular acts such as Throttle, LunchMoney Lewis, Eskimo Joe, Jai Waetford and Ashton Merrygold.
Since moving to North America, I have had the opportunity and honour of standing proud at the Blue Jay's field singing the Canadian and American anthems. As well as songwriting and performing her original music on stages around Toronto. Brooke has been networking and connecting in the dance and music industry to help her grow and bring her knowledge to the younger generation as they are the future stars of this world. She says it's so rewarding seeing her students over the years grow into beautiful performers that she now gets to watch in Musicals, travel with their passion and pass down what she's taught her past students.
'Dance isn't just a form of movement, but a feeling that comes from within' - Brooke Stilla
